An emergency meeting of the capital's executives took place today. During the emergency consultation, the implementation of the instructions given in the previous emergency consultation, the procurement process of the capital and measures being taken to reduce air pollution were discussed. In the previous quarter, 11 assignments were assigned and the completion rate is 86.4 percent.

The head of the capital's Department for Combating Air and Environmental Pollution, D. Munkhbaatar, presented a project to transfer 5,000 households of Bayangol and Chingeltai districts to heating and liquefied natural gas heating.

5,000 households living in houses and apartments in Bayangol and Chingeltai districts are being transferred to heating and gas heating. Within this framework, 5,000 gas heating furnaces and 20,000 gas cylinders will be received from Haier and Hysense, with a total work rate of 71.5 percent. Gas heating furnaces can operate in three modes: eco procedure, night procedure, and simple procedure. Seven gas charging points have also been set up in the Chingellai district. As of January 30, five gas stations are in operation. Six gas charging points have been put into operation in the Bayangol district. Explosion-proof electrical equipment, forced and non-compulsory ventilation, portable gas sensors, fire extinguishers, fire extinguishers, fire extinguishers, spark-proof rubber floors, security fences, camera controls, signs and markings were installed at the gas fuel sales point. A phased training of trainers and instructors for the transfer of gas heaters and certification of gas fuel sales points is being organized, and public impact activities are being carried out. At the behest of the NZD, the right to purchase gas cylinders has been transferred to the district authorities for the construction of gas cylinder charging points at 6 points in Bayangol district and 27 in Chingeltai district and a total of 33 points.

Out of the 113 projects that have been transferred to the Capital Investment Authority for 2026, 88 projects have been submitted to the authorized entity for tendering, it was also revealed during the urgent consultation.
